After reading this Zammex bone broth review, you’ll have all the information you need to make a purchasing decision.
While I do sell a bone broth of my own, my reviews of Zammex bone broth are as unbiased as possible because I evaluated all their bone broth products using three objective criteria:
- Nutrition Facts Labels
- Amazon reviews (about as unbiased reviews as possible these days)
While companies can buy Amazon reviews, for the most part, no company can hide behind these three pieces of objective information.
There is a lot to discuss, so let’s get into the review.

What is Zammex Bone Broth?
According to their website:
ZAMMEX™ Bone Broth is made from simmering bovine bones in water which is high in nutrients as many protein components including collagen and gelatin are leached from the bones and connective tissues during the cooking process.
Digging a bit deeper, you can find that Zammex is a supplement company with a large catalogue of vitamins and supplements including:
- Vitamin C
- Pea Protein
Zammex offers one bone broth product: a ‘Hydrolyzed Bone Broth Protein.’ What exactly is this and what does it mean? You’ve come to the right place. Read on to find out.
What is Hydrolyzed Bone Broth Protein?
Hydrolyzed bone broth protein is bone broth powder that has been further processed to remove the natural taste and flavor, rendering it flavorless.
You may be asking what hydrolyzed means?
Basically, it’s the breaking down of long protein strands into smaller chains or single amino acid strands. This can help with digestion but it also means more processing.

Red Flag Ingredients
Hydrolyzed Bone Broth Protein
Zammex bone broth product uses hydrolyzed bone broth protein as the sole ingredient. We outlined above how this protein is not really bone broth, it is actually more similar to collagen powder.
Once protein is hydrolyzed, it really cannot be processed much further. This process strips the bone broth powder of it’s taste and some of the nutrients and minerals.
The end result is an isolated form of protein that has the same nutrition profile as collagen.
If you are looking for bone broth nutrition without the taste or a product similar to collagen peptides, then Zammex is a great option.
However, if you are looking for a real bone broth, Zammex may not be the best option.
3rd Party Zammex Bone Broth Reviews via Amazon
We’ll paste in the three most recent Zammex Bone Broth reviews on Amazon at the time of this writing.
YUCK. Taste is horrible. Really sorry I spent that much money on this product. Can't honestly say if it does all it is supposed to do because after tasting it once, it sits in the pantry untouched and taking up a lot of space.
Works so well for me! First time purchasing Zammex and I already love this bone broth. First of all, it tastes pretty neutral. So, I've been able to easily make a routine out of drinking a warm cup first thing in the morning with vitamin c and hyaluronic acid.
An all around great Bone Broth supplement. I'm glad I found this bone broth. I already feel better - less pain and fewer headaches - after using it for a week. It can be blended with all kinds of foods so it's very versatile.
