This is an unsalted, low sodium bone broth. The sodium in it comes naturally from the bones we use.

Beef: 90 mg per 250ml serving (1 cup). 4% of RDI.

Chicken: 110-130 mg per 250ml serving (1 cup). 6% of RDI.

The chicken bone broth is a delicious sipping broth that tastes like a traditional chicken broth.

The beef bone broth protein, however, is a little bit different. It is better used as a protein powder, not a sipping broth. It is unflavoured, meaning you can blend it, shake it or bake it. Add it to your favourite milk, juice, smoothie or liquid using a blender or just stir with a spoon. It mixes well into hot and cold liquids and you won't notice the taste.

Our bone broth starts where real food does: with grass fed, pasture raised cows and chickens from trusted farms.

These animals are raised with respect, where they have plenty of space to roam at their hearts content. They are also free from hormones and antibiotics.

We slow cook our bone broth using a traditional simmer (12-24 hrs) to maximize protein, collagen and nutrients.

From there, it's gently dehydrated into a concentrated powder packed with protein, collagen, gelatin and amino acids your body needs to recover, rebuild and thrive.

Our Bone Broth Powder has a 2 year shelf life if kept at room temperature in a dry location. We recommend storing in your pantry at 70 F or 21 degrees celsius.

The pouch is good until the best before date on the back of each pouch as long as you store it at around 21 degrees celsius or 70 F in a dark location.

You can store it in the fridge in summer months or if you live in a warm climate.

Beef Bone Broth Protein Powder

Most of beef protein powders or isolates are made of mainly collagen and gelatin. If you check the amino acid profiles of these products, they do not contain the same amino acids (ex: essential amino acids like leucine) you would find in beef muscle meat like steak.

They also do not contain any iron, which is also found in beef muscle meat / steak. So what are they? The amino acid profiles are very closer to collagen or gelatin powder (within 1-2% on all amino acids). Our hunch is that these products are mislabelled gelatin or collagen powder being sold by crafty marketers.

Our beef bone broth protein powder is a classic beef bone broth that is gently dehydrated into a powder. It is unflavoured and unsweetened. No heavy processing and no filler ingredients like some beef isolates out there.
